10 Bean Dips That’ll Have You Saying “Touchdowwwwn!”

Here’s a short, non-exhaustive list of why you should make bean dip:

  1. It’s easy.
  2. It’s fancy enough for your highbrow Oscar’s party, but not-so-fancy it seems out of place next to wings and pizza at your Superbowl extravaganza. (Pizza and hummus? There are much weirder things, I am sure.)
  3. They’re called the musical fruit, but I like to call them the magical fruit because they’re delicious, straight from the can. You don’t have to do much to ’em. Except, of course, in this instance, make dip.
  4. If all else fails and/or you get caught up in the game, add some dippers and call the dip dinner. Hey, there’s protein!

To see our full run-down of the best dippers to pair with dips, head to our very comprehensive and highly scientific guide.

Or skip right to choosing your bean dip of choice, and making or purchasing whatever shoveling eating implements you like:
